This listing features a pair of authentic, rare vintage Bakelite hearts in a stunning opaque creamy yellow. Perfect for a variety of jewelry and accessory designs, including rings, pins, earrings, crafts, and necklaces. Although there are no holes, they can be added, and bails can be glued on. Bakelite, invented in 1908 and produced through the 1930s, was known as "the material of a thousand uses" and was only made for a limited time. Each heart measures 21mm in diameter and 5mm in thickness. These pieces have been tested with Simichrome to verify their authenticity.
